The PM-700 series
plating and etching system has set new standards for fast, sensitive real-time
monitoring of film thickness in liquid plating or etching processes. With Quartz
Crystal Microbalance technology at the heart of the system, the 700 series
provides constant monitoring as it happens. Now, you can have pinpoint control -
at all times. That means tighter tolerances, less waste, and lower cost.
The 700 series
measures thickness changes as small as 1 Å (.01µ in) and rate changes of 0.1
Å (.001µ in) per second. Discrete inputs and outputs allow for automatic
initiation of monitor or triggering external functions. The systems are fast and
accurate, updated at 0.1 to 2 second intervals, readings are accurate to within
one half of one percent.
Two built-in
digital-to-analog converters allow for continuous charting of rate and
thickness. A RS-232 communication port allows computer control and process data
logging.
