ADJUSTABLE SINGLE SENSOR HEAD/FEEDTHROUGH

The ASF-140/141’s are pre-assembled sensor feedthrough combinations designed for ease of installation in vacuum systems which require a water cooled sensor, but do not require high temperature bake out. The sensor’s electrical conduit and water lines are pre-assembled through a 1 inch bolt type, O-ring sealed feedthrough. The water cooling tubes and conduit tube are sealed by means of Cajon Ultra-Torr7, O-ring sealed fittings. The feedthrough can be moved along the length of the tubes allowing the length inside of the vacuum system to be adjusted over a range of 10 to 66 cm (4” to 26”). Once the desired length is determined, the Cajon7 fittings allow for a finger tight tube seal. Cool Drawer™ The water cooled sensor head houses the Maxtek Cool Drawer™ to provide excellent thermal stability. Two sensor configurations are offered: The -T, Top mounted version and the -S, Side mounted version. The -T version is designed for installation through the top of the vacuum system. In this version the water cooling tubes are perpendicular to the crystal face. The -S version is designed for installation from the side or bottom of the chamber. In this version cooling tubes and the crystal face are parallel.
